Made in 1940’s

How many of us heard of Sir Henry Royce? …yes, the greatest cars of all time was his vision along with Mr Charles Stewart Rolls.
The first year 1906 when the company introduced its first car, the Silver Ghost. The car ran non-stop for a record-breaking 24,000 km.
The oldest known Rolls-Royce still on the road is the 1906 owned by Mr Thomas Love Jr of Scotland
There was only one chassis built in 1940’s as the production of chassis was ceased in 1939. If you check the production you can’t see any cars produced between 1939 and 1950.

And here comes some interesting facts…
The Rolls-Royce radiator grille is made entirely by hand and eye – no measuring instruments are used
It takes one man one day to make a Rolls-Royce radiator, and then five hours are spent polishing it
Even today every Rolls-Royce engine is completely hand built
No one is certain who designed the Rolls-Royce radiator grille or the interlinked RR badge
At these times customers can choose from……….(hold your breath)………44000 colours

I have a Jagguar with the hood ornament and everyone always stops me to ask the type of car it is. Here in America there aren’t many.
