Means of transport, delivering goods am looking in to the old and the new age

Below is the most common means of transport in Alapuzha, the back waters of Kerala. A wonderful network of canals connect many long distance places through which people carry their produce to the market for sale.

Again am relating the new age means of transport to water (as it was suppose to be the oldest means of mass transportation).

The roads, one of my greatest passions to keep myself moving; no roads never disappointed me, no roads never cheated me, the more i explore them the more i learned about this beautiful world am on. Did i tell you i hate Satlite navigation equipments ??

It says “Some roads are’nt meant to be travelled alone” but i think its far better to try many of them alone. The real thrill are awaiting you.

This time in sunday stills am adding two extremes, what would hopefully make you think about nature and care our planets future.

Fog can be simply defined as a cloud touching the ground.

You all might have heard the expression; he’s walking on cloud nine? Well, if you’ve walked through fog, you’ve walked through a cloud. And lucky me I drove on the cloud this time. Cloud Nine is all about state of happiness and I guess you can imagine the state of our mind driving @ less than 40 kmph through this light fog creating a magical pathway to our destination. Black & White effect in the frame is true natural lights. I insisted my buddy to apply the breaks to get those red lights on.

The route is in southern part of India so called the ‘Gods own country’ Kerala. We took a long drive from Thrissur to Coorg via Mananthavady, Tholpatty etc. Between the happy hours of that chilling drive we were occasionally bunged by crossing wild elephants, pack of bison, several pack of deer and bears

Ferruccio Elio Arturo Lamborghini, Italian industrialist the founder of super sport car Lamborghini was born to grape farmers in a small western village of Italy in early 1916. His mechanical know-how led him to enter the business of tractor manufacturing in 1948, when he founded Lamborghini Trattori, which quickly became an important manufacturer of agricultural equipment in the midst of Italy’s post-war economic reform.

After the war, Lamborghini opened a garage in Pieve di Cento. In his spare time, Lamborghini modified an old Fiat Topolino he had purchased, the first of many that he would own over the years. He made use of his mechanical abilities to transform the homely city car into a roaring 750-cc open-top two-seater, thus first seed of a great sport car was born

Here is the low down on the key facts about this truly extraordinary car

The Veyron is powered by a compact 8.0-litre, 16-cylinder engine developing an astonishing 1001PS and 1250Nm of torque. The 16.4 refers to the 16 cylinders and 4 turbos that the Veyron’s mighty engine boasts.

That powerplant is expected to enable the Veyron 16.4 to breach 400kph – or around 250mph

All that power is distributed through a four-wheel-drive transmission featuring a sequential paddle-shift, seven-speed, double clutch,

Bugatti claims that the Veyron 16.4 can stop from 250mph to standstill in ‘considerably less than 10 seconds’.

Veyron 16.4 is expected to reach 62mph (100kph) in three seconds, and 186mph (300kph) in less than fourteen.

Michelin has had to produce unique tyres to handle the Veyron 16.4’s unique performance. They feature the PAX run-flat system and can driven on flat for around 125 miles at up to 50mph. The rear tyres at 14.4-inches (540mm) in width are the widest fitted to a production car

TIPS TO RIDE A JetSky

Never mount a jet ski from the side

To mount the jet ski, swim to the back and pull yourself up, then scoot forward until you are in the driver position

Turn the Jet Ski by turning the handle bars in the same direction you intend to move

The jet ski will only turn if the engine is propelling it in that direction.

If you turn the handle bars to the right, the engine’s jet nozzle will direct the stream of water to the right, and vice versa. It’s real elementary.

Practice slowing down. This may sound silly, but Jet Ski’s don’t have brakes. The stopping mechanism here is the friction between the bottom of the Jet Ski on the water in addition your weight. This will act as a natural stopping force

If you end up in the water and your jet ski is upside down, don’t panic. Jet ski’s have foam-filled hulls … they will float no matter what.
To right your jet ski, swim to the rear and flip the boat over in the direction indicated on the back of the jet ski. Every jet ski has a specific direction that it is easy to flip it back over.
Don’t try to right the jet ski from the side, it could fall on you and you could die …

 Respect others and don’t ever attempt a Jet ski if you are drunk

6th generation all terrain monster from Land Cruiser

A four-wheel drive vehicle produced by the Japanese car maker Toyota Motor Corporation. Design of the Land Cruiser began in 1951 as Toyota‘s version of a Jeep-like vehicle and production began in 1954

Land Cruiser is currently Toyota’s flagship 4WD.

1954 – The name “Land Cruiser” was created by the technical director Hanji Umehara. “In England we had another competitor – Land Rover. I had to come up with a name for our car that would not sound less dignified than those of our competitors. That is why I decided to call it ‘Land Cruiser’,” he recalls & he was true…….Land Cruiser keeps its pride it was built for by all means.
